Heat Assisted Yoga
Heat Assisted Yoga is a fast paced class that is accomplished in one hour. Flowing poses are used to raise the level of heat inside the body. The temperature of the room can be varied for beginners and the class can change to accommodate the level of skill of the students.
Heat Assisted Yoga is accessible to all levels and ages, but many find Heat Assisted Yoga a little more challenging than the Hot Yoga series. Because it is meant to use your own body heat to raise your core temperature, it can be a little more physically challenging.
In keeping with the practice of Yoga attention is also paid to relaxation and stress reduction through meditation, breathing and decompression exercises.
Just as with other Hot Yoga classes, it is extremely important to stay hydrated. The water you drink BEFORE the class is far more important than the water you drink during class. So bring a water bottle. Mats and towels are available for rental, but you may bring your own if you wish..
