Hot Yoga Body Transformation Boot Camp (Sign up is May 5-10th, 2014)
Hot Yoga Boot Camp is an intense six week program accessible to all levels of skill. It works on the principles of Hot yoga to build core strength, increase flexibility, lose unwanted fat, detoxify the body AND mind and relax and decompress all the stress and tension points of the body. You will focus on meditation to clear the mind, clean body nutrition, self study and yoga practice,
What you can expect from the six week program:
You will receive a workbook that will help guide you through the process, a journal to catalog your thoughts as you go through this journey, some "class frames" that will help you during days when you cannot attend the class. We will measure your body and stress level before hand so that you can create realistic and challenging goals for your journey.
Classes will begin at a level that even the most unpracticed person can easily make it through the class - but feel challenged. They will gradually start increasing in flow - not difficulty. Adding new moves to "trick" the body away from the efficiency of repetition. During the final week, we will do one week of a Hot Body Fusion class that is known for its unparalleled capacity to create a leaner, stronger body.
Your workbook will coach you through your meditation practices and health food choices will be available for you to use throughout the series. As with ALL exercise programs, a balanced diet helps renew the body.
Classes will be held in the Hot Studio at 4:15PM Monday through Friday and will end at 5:45PM. To get the most of the boot camp, you are encouraged to go to every weekday class. We offer weekend classes that may not be Boot Camp classes, but they will keep you in line with the program. You are able to take TWO self study days a week. Each week has a set of moves that will be our focus and you will be given the moves at the beginning of each week. If you cannot attend a class, simply do the practice at your convenience at home. But, of course, the most major results would be seen if you went consecutively in the Hot Studio for the full 6 weeks - using the Boot Camp courses during the weekdays and the weekend Hot Yoga series on the weekend.
What do you need to bring to the experience:
Dedication would be the most important tool ;) But we also ask you to choose a self-help book or an enlightening book to read throughout the six week journey. There is time at the end of the class where we will talk and we ask if you will share something that inspired you through the week.
Water --- Water -- Water. Hydration is so important - but most important is the hydration you do before class. If you are finding that you are getting more dizzy in the classes as we progress, you may be off balance with your electrolytes. We find that Coconut Water can help as well as salt baths.
We do provide yoga mats and towels for rentals, but you may wish to bring your own. There are several mats that are designed specifically for Hot Yoga studio. We especially want to get cheaper petroleum based mats out of the studio since they can release toxins into the air and detoxification of the body is one of our primary goals.
